Jason Baushke has been a taxidermist for fifteen years and has completed taxidermy work on animals from around the world. He specializes in constructing accurate background and landscape construction for floor displays and pedestal mounts. He learned his trade from world champion taxidermist Joe Meder in Iowa and studied under Bill Yox from New York and Jean Roll from Michigan. Jason is licensed by Michigan DNRE and US Fish and Wildlife. He is a member of the Michigan and Ohio Taxidermy Associations, as well as Safari Club International, Ducks Unlimited and Whitetails Unlimited. Jason is an avid bear hunter and considers bears his favorite animal to mount as well. His studio and home are located in Dowagiac, MI.
